On Thursday March 5th, Patricia McGill, the international
storyteller, visited our school. She is a well known storyteller who has been
working and collaborating with many storytelling projects worldwide (Catalonia,
Spain, Brazil) for many years.
As part of the English curricular subject, she
came and told our 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders
many interesting, interactive and different stories in English. Our students
enjoyed the activity which took place in our new multi-use room.
Patricia emphasized on children’s interaction
throughout her whole performances: she aimed to make the students participate and
develop the stories, she fostered students’ imagination and creativity while
listening to an English story, but, above all this, she focused on the
students’ understanding and enjoyment.
Then, the experience was absolutely successful.
We all are waiting forward to listening to Patricia’s stories again!!!
